This document describes the business model and pricing strategy for connectsoft.me Personal Agents Platform. It is written for product managers, sales, and anyone defining pricing and licensing for connectsoft.me.

connectsoft.me uses a freemium model with tiered subscriptions designed to be simple, cheap, and very clear. The model focuses on low-touch, self-service subscriptions for individuals, with an upgrade path to connectsoft.io for organizational needs.

Pricing Philosophy: Start simple, cheap, and very clear. All prices are introductory and can be adjusted once we see usage patterns and costs. The goal is to let people actually use it and fall in love, with clear upgrade paths.

Base Currency & General Rules

Primary Currency

  • USD as primary currency (global SaaS standard)
  • Localize later on connectsoft.co.il (show NIS, but keep the structure the same)

Pricing Adjustments

  • All prices below are introductory โ€” can be adjusted once we see usage & costs
  • Pricing will be tuned based on:
  • Actual AI costs (OpenAI/Azure AI)
  • Average tokens per run (agents + orchestration)
  • User behavior and adoption patterns

Pricing Tiers

๐ŸŽฏ Free โ€“ $0

Price: $0

Limits:

  • 1 Pack (e.g., Life Admin Lite)
  • Up to 3 Agents
  • ~300 agent runs / month
  • Basic connectors: Email + Calendar + File upload
  • 30 days of history

Goal:

  • Let people actually use it and fall in love
  • Big enough to feel useful, small enough to push to Pro

Use Case:

  • Individual users trying out personal agents
  • Students and learners
  • Light personal automation needs

โญ Personal Pro (Main Plan)

Price: $12/month (or $120/year - save $24)

Limits:

  • Up to 5 Packs
  • Up to 15 Agents
  • 3,000โ€“5,000 agent runs / month (tune by cost)
  • All supported personal connectors (Notion, Google Drive, OneDrive, etc., as we add them)
  • 6โ€“12 months history

Extras:

  • Priority in queue (faster runs)
  • Early access to new Packs/Agents

Goal:

  • This should be your primary product for individuals
  • Provides substantial value for power users
  • Reasonable price point for monthly subscription

Use Case:

  • Busy professionals managing email and calendar
  • Freelancers handling CRM and follow-ups
  • Power users wanting multiple agent packs

Price: $24/month (or $240/year - save $48)

Includes:

  • Up to 4 members on one subscription
  • Shared Packs (Family Logistics, Shared Budget, etc.)
  • Each member can still have 1โ€“2 private Packs

Limits:

  • Total Packs: e.g., 8โ€“10 shared + private
  • Total Agents: ~25โ€“30
  • Combined runs/month: e.g., 7,500โ€“10,000

Goal:

  • Target families & couples
  • ARPU roughly double Pro
  • Shared workflows and coordination

Use Case:

  • Families managing shared schedules and logistics
  • Couples coordinating household tasks
  • Multi-person households with shared automation needs

Price: +$10/month on top of Pro/Family

Rights:

  • Publish Packs/Agents to the marketplace (once it exists)
  • Get revenue share (e.g., 70% of sales)
  • Access to more detailed analytics for their agents

Marketplace Pricing (when live):

  • Creator chooses price (e.g., \(3โ€“\)10/month per Pack)
  • You keep 30% platform fee

Goal:

  • Enable creator economy
  • Incentivize pack creation and sharing
  • Build marketplace ecosystem

Use Case:

  • Power users who want to share their custom packs
  • Creators building specialized agent solutions
  • Community contributors

Usage Guardrails

Cost-Based Tuning

Under the hood, we'll tune:

Runs/month per tier based on:

  • Your OpenAI/Azure AI costs
  • Average tokens per run (agents + orchestration)
  • Target profit margins

Fair Use Cap:

  • Soft limit on runs
  • Then degrade performance or upsell
  • Option to buy extra runs as add-ons later (e.g., $5 for +2,000 runs)

Usage Monitoring

  • Track token usage per run
  • Monitor costs vs revenue
  • Adjust quotas based on actual costs
  • Provide usage dashboards to users

.me prices are low-touch, self-service:

  • Simple tiered subscriptions
  • Self-service sign-up and onboarding
  • Minimal sales support needed
  • Focus on individual and small family use

connectsoft.io Upgrade Path

When someone wants:

  • Multi-user org (teams, departments, companies)
  • Custom domains
  • Compliance & advanced integrations
  • Enterprise features (SSO, RBAC, advanced audit)

They jump to connectsoft.io pricing, e.g.:

  • Enterprise plans with custom pricing
  • Self-host options for regulated industries

Upgrade Flow:

  • "Promote this Pack into an organizational workflow" feature
  • Seamless transition from personal to team use
