Domain Vision and Scope

This document defines the vision, goals, non-goals, and initial scope for the Personal Agents Platform domain. It is written for product managers, architects, and stakeholders defining the domain boundaries and roadmap.

The Personal Agents Platform domain aims to become the operating system for personal AI agents, enabling individuals to automate recurring life tasks without being developers. This document establishes the vision and boundaries for the initial release and future evolution.

Important

MVP Boundaries: The initial release focuses on core capabilities: user onboarding, prebuilt agent packs, basic agent execution, suggestion and approval workflow, and essential connectors (Email, Calendar, File upload). Advanced features like custom agent builder, marketplace, and complex multi-agent workflows are deferred to future releases.

Vision

The Personal Agents Platform will become the operating system for personal AI agents, enabling individuals to:

  • Automate Life Tasks - Handle recurring personal tasks (email triage, calendar coordination, budget tracking, learning) without manual effort
  • Orchestrate Multi-Agent Workflows - Coordinate multiple specialized agents working together
  • Maintain Control - All external actions start as suggestions requiring explicit approval
  • Track Everything - Full transparency into what agents did, when, and why
  • Scale Effortlessly - From simple single-agent tasks to complex multi-agent workflows

The platform bridges the gap between individuals needing personal automation and AI agents delivering outcomes, powered by ConnectSoft's Factory, platforms, and AI Gateway.
