Domains Overview¶
This document provides a high-level map of all ConnectSoft domains (connectsoft.ai, connectsoft.io, connectsoft.dev, connectsoft.co.il) and shows how they relate to products, audiences, and strategies. It is written for architects, marketing, GTM teams, and operations teams managing ConnectSoft's web presence.
ConnectSoft uses a strategic domain separation strategy to clearly differentiate between different aspects of the business: the AI Factory (control plane), ready-made SaaS platforms (data plane), developer resources, and local presence. Each domain has a clear role and audience.
Important
.ai = Control plane (orchestration, blueprints, generation) | .io = Data plane (user data, traffic from customers). This separation aligns with how we think about Factory vs Products.
Domain Strategy at a Glance¶
ConnectSoft uses multiple domains to serve different audiences and purposes. Each domain has a clear role:
.ai→ AI Factory, platforms, thought leadership - The "brain" of ConnectSoft, where we explain how the Factory works, agent orchestration, and platform architecture.io→ SaaS marketplace and product catalog - The "marketplace" where customers discover and use ready-made SaaS solutions.me→ Personal Agents Platform - The "personal agents" brand for individuals, freelancers, students, and families to automate life tasks.dev→ Engineering/docs/developer portal - The "how-to" hub for developers integrating with ConnectSoft platforms and Factory.co.il→ Localized Israeli site - The "local presence" for Hebrew-speaking customers and partners in Israel
This separation ensures each domain tells a focused story without confusion, while allowing strategic cross-linking between domains.
Domain Roles and Positioning¶
| Domain | Primary Role | Main Audience |
|---|---|---|
| connectsoft.ai | AI Factory + platforms "brain" | CTOs, architects, strategic buyers |
| connectsoft.io | SaaS solutions & marketplace hub | Product owners, business stakeholders |
| connectsoft.me | Personal Agents Platform | Individuals, freelancers, students, families |
| connectsoft.dev | Developer portal & documentation | Developers, DevOps, integrators |
| connectsoft.co.il | Local / regional presence (Israel) | Local clients (Hebrew), local partners |
Note
Content can cross-link between domains, but each has a primary story. For example, .ai explains the Factory story, .io shows products built with the Factory, and .dev provides technical integration details. Strategic cross-linking helps users navigate between domains based on their needs.
Mapping Domains to Products and Audiences¶

Governance and Decision Principles¶
Core Principles¶
- Avoid Content Duplication - Cross-link instead of duplicating content across domains
- Clear Primary Narrative - Each domain has a clear primary story and audience
- Domain Placement Decision - Any new public product must have a domain placement decision
- Consistent Branding - Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across domains
- Strategic Cross-Linking - Link between domains where it helps user journeys
Decision Process¶
For New Products:
- Determine primary audience (strategic buyers, product owners, developers, local)
- Map to appropriate domain (
.ai,.io,.dev,.co.il) - Define subdomain strategy if needed (e.g.,
product.connectsoft.io) - Document in DNS Subdomain Map
For Content:
- Determine primary audience
- Place content on appropriate domain
- Cross-link from other domains if relevant
- Avoid duplication
Decision
Core Domain Rule: connectsoft.ai is always the global AI Factory + platform brain. We do not put random micro-sites there. All Factory-related content, agent orchestration, and platform architecture belongs on .ai. Ready-made SaaS products and marketplace belong on .io. Personal agents for individuals belong on .me. Developer resources belong on .dev. Local/regional content belongs on .co.il.
