This decision document defines the business-level product focus for 2026, establishing priorities for Core Platform, AI Factory SaaS, and initial horizontal SaaS products. It is written for product managers, executives, and stakeholders planning 2026 execution.

Decision

Focus 2026 on: (1) Core Platform v1 stable and production-ready, (2) AI Factory SaaS v1 launched, (3) First 1-2 Cycle 2 products (Digital Marketing Hub, Short Links Platform) launched. This establishes the foundation for future cycles.

Context

ConnectSoft is building a comprehensive SaaS platform ecosystem with multiple cycles of products. For 2026, we need to establish clear priorities to ensure focused execution and successful delivery.

The question: What should be the primary product focus for 2026 to establish a strong foundation for future growth?

Decision

Focus 2026 on three primary areas:

  1. Core Platform v1 - Identity, Config, Audit, Communications, Documents, Billing platforms stable and production-ready
  2. AI Factory SaaS v1 - First SaaS product launched, developer/architect-facing, API-first
  3. First 1-2 Cycle 2 Products - Digital Marketing Hub and Short Links Platform launched

Rationale

  • Foundation First: Core Platform must be stable before building SaaS products reliably
  • Factory as First SaaS: AI Factory SaaS demonstrates Factory capabilities while serving as first SaaS product
  • Prove Horizontal Model: First 1-2 Cycle 2 products prove the horizontal SaaS model
  • Focused Execution: Limiting scope ensures quality delivery and reduces risk
  • Clear Milestones: Three clear focus areas provide measurable milestones
