This phase produces the agreed map of the ecosystem. There is no runtime work: the deliverable is shared understanding. See the implementation waves for the full sequence.

Objectives

  • Establish the catalog, classification, and prioritization as a single source of truth.
  • Capture decisions as ADRs and a BDR.
  • Define the bounded-context map and reference architecture.

Deliverables

Exit Criteria

  • Architecture and product leadership accept the classification and prioritization.
  • Phase 1 scope (core platform Tier 0-1) is confirmed against the roadmaps.
